Breakfast was good., lots of helpful staff. Facilities and cleanliness both good. Reception staff very helpful and friendly. Location and views of the port excellent.

Location excellent, faces the harbor. Walking distance to the main square and the pedestrian street. I spent slightly more $ to get upgraded to a room which faces the harbor and it is well worth it! The staff are very nice and helpful. The breakfast is excellent. The dinner is included and it is adequate (expect a simple dinner), suited us fine as we adapted to have a fuller breakfast and lunch. We took the bus to most places we wanted to visit. Best to buy 24h ticket, which you can buy at 7-11 right by the main square. Using the Svipper app you can also buy tickets (later we learned this). As for Tromso in summer: In addition to cable car, polar museum, Arctic cathedral, the library is a hidden gem! Very nice building. We can did a husky puppy farm visit which is a wonderful experience.

Room was very comfortable with a great view of the harbour. Enjoyed very much the breakfast and the light dinner, and staff were extremely pleasant and helpful.
