The location was in the middle of the island, very close to Rethymno and to other attractions and beaches. The hosts very super friendly, pleasant and welcoming, made us feel at home and helped us with everything that we needed in no time The villa itself was big and comfortable, with great view, great breeze from the sea and a very nice balcony to sit and relax with a glass of wine during the evening.

The host was amazing, we received a number of emails before our stay and phone calls once she knew we had landed. She was there to greet us to hand over the keys and show us around the villa. She also sent details of local restaurants, beaches and other places to visit. She was on hand for anything we needed and always available on whatsapp. We've even stayed in touch since we've returned.

Manager was extremely responsive . Nice and clean with all possible equipment . Two single beds in one room , one double bed in another and a single room besides . Not a bad view , we had a car which was very handy it was a twenty minute walk to town . Plenty of garden furniture . small pool which was nice for a dip . BBQ outside .

The property is in the mountain area and on hot days a gentle breeze is welcome. There is always a place to sit and lie down to relax, the pool beds, the egg swing, chair swing, the outdoor tables and the balconies. The pool is clean and kept at a perfect temperature. For a refreshing drink you can squeeze lemons and oranges straight from a small citrus garden and in the evenings the property is romantically lit up with lights which reflect into the pool as you enjoy a glass of local wine while viewing below you the town of Rythymon. The ancient Venetian and Ottoman historical fort is also lit up and night with a beautiful setting. Just a short walk up the hill from the property you can enjoy blood orange sunsets that will take your breath away.
