Hotel in a central location just 2 minutes from the Old Town. Comfortable studio with more than enough room for the two of us. The studio had a fridge which was very welcome during the hot weather. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

First off, Ms. Ioanna, the hotel manager is absolutely wonderful - warm, welcoming, helpful, knowledgeable, friendly; one of the loveliest people I encountered during my 3-week solo trip! The hotel is in the best location - down a street off the main square and right by one of the riverside entrances to the town - best of both worlds! The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable, clean towels, complimentary water, TV, comfortable temperature, working desk and a good shower. The only 'negative' is a lack of outlets for charging devices - but deal with it! :) From the first moment, communication was excellent, even with two changes of dates on my part, and they accommodated my request for a first floor room (which has easy stair access to it and facing the back means no noise at all). It's easy to reach on foot (riverside walk) from the Miasto train station, and the Old Town is just a 2-minute slow walk. The restaurant inside is in a beautiful setting, but it also has outside seating. The food is delicious, and the beer with ginger drink added to it (Ms. Ioanna's recommendation) is a must-try! The staff are all very friendly and accommodating, and Mr. Matsche (apologies if spelling is off!) the waiter a delightful character. All in all, it's everything you want in a hotel stay! I'm itching to book my next stay - also, because... Torun! <3
