Great, secluded lodge in the middle of the nature. We loved being woken by the monkeys playing outside in the trees. Very helpful staff. The lodge is situated on the other side of the river then the tortuguero city. This was no problem, since the owners send a boat to bring/pick us up whenever we wanted.

Wilfreo is incredibly friendly and always happy to help with any questions or tours you’d like to do. The breakfast is delicious and very generous. I felt so welcome, and it’s such a beautiful place to stay.

Secret Eco Lodge was clean and in a quiet location. Beds were very comfortable.

The staff is amazing! Very kind and helpful with arranging tours and transportation. They made our room extra special because we are on our honeymoon. Everything is clean and the room and bathroom are nice. The beds are comfortable. The breakfast was good: fresh fruits, rice and beans, eggs and toast with jam. There are nice hammocks to enjoy and chairs to side beside the water. The hotel is located on the opposite side of the river from the village, but they have their one watertaxi to bring you there and after a text they come for pick up. Great service! It is a nice, tranquilo place, surrounded by nature. We saw a big group of howler monkeys in the garden, great experience!
