The fine print
Tortuguero and therewith the property are only accesible by boat or plane. The last boat connection is at 16:00 from La Pavona, which is about 3-4 hours drive from San José if there no major incidents on the road.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. Great location just a short walk from the main pier. The staff here are so lovely and welcoming and happy to help with anything! We got welcome drinks on arrival which was a nice touch! Nice chill out areas and kitchen for guests to use. Nice clean hostel. Would definitely recommend

super helpful staff, the boat ride there and back was easy since the guys knew of my booking when I arrived at la pavona, made it simple and was collected at the dock on arrival. room was clean and spacious. location was perfect. staff were so lovely. did all the trips at the hostel which kept us busy, really knowledgeable guide. how he spotted the animals was amazing. breakfast was tasty. comfortable beds.
