The place was very brightly lit and it immediately gave a very warm and welcoming feeling. The cottage is built in a very homely style with cozy feeling. The host stocked it with all essentials needed for a comfortable stay. Its location is perfect as it’s not too close to the bustling, busy city centre yet was close enough to all important view points, major attractions like Lochness, dolphin point, city centre and convenience stores.

Birchwood Cottage is a hidden gem nestled in a forest. The house is beautiful that offers everything you need for a comfortable stay. The bedroom along with the balcony offered a beautiful restorative retreat away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We will definitely stay here again.

Very good communication and very helpful owner of the property. Very clean and tidy in every room. Had all facilities that were needed. Very good location if you are travelling by car, very quiet area exactly what I was looking for for our family trip. Equally close enough to Inverness just a few minute drive to all the shops.
