The fine print
There are 2 Tokyu Stay properties in Shibuya area. Please check the property name and address before arrival.The full amount of the reservation must be paid at check-in.Early check in before 15:00 and late check out after 11:00 is available at a surcharge. Please contact the property for more details.For guests staying 6 nights or less, cleaning is upon request only and it will be a simple cleaning (only exchanging towels and collecting trash).
For guests staying 7 nights or more, in addition to a simple cleaning, a full room cleaning will be conducted once a week (bed-making and floor cleaning services included). Extra room cleaning can be arranged with fees upon request.

The room was really spacious (bigger than it looks in the photos), lots of places to put your luggage. The fridge had plenty of space for large bottles of water and small food items. The washing machine in the room is free, has a tumble dry option and can be used without the room key so can be left on whilst out and about, detergent is also provided for you but be advised that the controls are all in Japanese. The bed was really comfortable and air con was effective (we stayed in July so it was very much appreciated). Location is amazing, lots of great little bars and restaurants in the surrounding streets and you're only 10 mins walk from the scramble. There is also a little supermarket across the road from the hotel with a better selection of fruit and veg than you'll get in any of the FamilyMart/711s. Be advised there are two Tokyu Stays in Shibuya so make sure you go to the right one, they are quite far apart from each other! Check in is at 3PM but the hotel will hold your bags for you if you arrive a little early, our bags were waiting for us in the room when we did get our room key. Cannot fault the staff, they were all extremely helpful and do speak English.

Washing facilities, clean, location (despite the walk mostly uphill), friendly staff, coffee machine in foyer, free umbrellas to use for wet weather, nearby train station but realised this at the end of the trip, nearby supermarket + restaurants

Great value hotel. Just far enough from the busy areas to be peaceful. Lots of great places to eat close by. Merri Princepessa pizza around the corner was exceptionally good.
