Rhyce “The B Akasaka-Mitsuke - Not Fancy, but Super Convenient”

The location was hands-down the best part. Just a 2-minute walk to Akasaka Station, which made it super easy to get to Haneda Airport, Shibuya, Shinjuku, and more. I actually stayed here twice during my trip - once at the start and again at the end - because it was so convenient. Out of the 9 places I stayed in Japan, this one had the best location for getting around. The rooms were small but had everything you need - comfy bed, clean bathroom, hairdryer, and a mini fridge. You can even request an ironing mat from the front desk. While there’s no kitchen or microwave in the room, there is a shared microwave on the ground floor. The Excelsior Café downstairs was great for planning day trips or getting a bit of work done. It had plenty of seating and powerpoints to keep your laptop charged. Also, the area around the hotel is packed with restaurants, convenience stores, and bars all within walking distance. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and they even sometimes had complimentary mini donuts in the lobby - a small but sweet touch.
