Beyond the place itself, we are truly grateful to Nana, Mahiro, and Momo for their hospitality and kindness — they made us feel right at home! The location in the heart of Yanaka was perfect for experiencing a more local and peaceful side of Tokyo, away from the busy city center. The room was comfortable, and we enjoyed sleeping on the tatami. They also put a lot of thought into the breakfast, which made it extra special. Last but not least, the daily visits to the sento (with the tickets they kindly provided) were a lovely touch to end the days. Many thanks for everything!

Hanare is one of those places that are more than a hotel. The service has been absolutely fantastic and we loved the girls at the reception. The room is tiny but comfy and the hotel has everything you need. Hanare is located it Yanaka, a district we really loved. The map provided was perfect and thanks to it we discovered some local gems including a sento experience - make sure not to miss it! Would love to come back one day

I recently stayed at Hanare Hotel in Tokyo, and I can't recommend it highly enough! From moment I arrived, the staff was warm and attentive, making me feel right at home. The rooms are not only comfortable and very clean but also reflect the simplicity and authenticity of Japanese design. The decor beautifully blends modern aesthetics with traditional Japanese elements, creating a serene and welcoming atmosphere. One of the highlights of my stay was the location in the charming Yanaka neighborhood. This area is a hidden gem, known for its old-world charm, narrow streets, and traditional wooden houses. I loved exploring the local shops, quaint cafes, and beautiful temples. Yanaka offers a perfect glimpse into a more authentic side of Tokyo, away from the hustle and bustle of the more touristy areas. Additionally, the breakfast at the hotel was a true delight, featuring a variety of delicious dishes sourced from local producers in another region of Japan. It was wonderful to enjoy fresh, high-quality ingredients that highlighted the flavors of Japanese cuisine. Special mentions to Momo-Ko and Nana-Ko, two charming persons who make you feel more than a host. They have a very high sense of service. I really appreciated discussing with you :-) MERCI 🫰🏽🫰🏽 In summary, my experience at Hanare Hotel was super great, I can't wait to return on my next visit to Tokyo.
