Claire “Clean, well-run, quiet hostel with great location”

A clean, well-run, exceptionally quiet hostel very near Ueno Park. Walking distance to lots of attractions in Ueno, Asakusa, and Akihabara, and you can get to Ginza, Shibuya, etc pretty easily via the metro. Bonus: the shinkansen also stops at Ueno Station, so if you're moving on from Tokyo, it's very convenient. Check in and check out were smooth and the capsules are nice and private. Bathroom is very clean and there are toiletries and towels.

The wireless connection was great. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a cozy bed. It’s conveniently located near several train stations and bus stops. I was able to store my luggage after check-out until my flight. Highly recommended!

📍 Location: The hotel is located in a very quiet area of Tokyo, yet it’s close to major metro lines, making it easy to travel anywhere in the city. The location is very convenient for both sightseeing and local exploration. 🍽️ Restaurants & Shops around: There are coffee shops, restaurants, convenience stores, and markets nearby, making this a very convenient place to stay for travelers who want everything within walking distance. 🛏️ Rooms: The bed space has good headroom, and the bed is very comfortable. There is enough space to keep your belongings neatly. Note: Luggage is not allowed inside the sleeping area, which is a good policy to avoid potential bed bug contamination from suitcases. There are only 10 sleeping spaces on the 2nd floor, so it’s not crowded. You won’t see clothes hanging or clutter around the beds, and the area is very clean and well-maintained. 🚿 Washroom: There is only one shared shower, but I never had to wait long. I was able to use it whenever I needed without any problem. There are two toilets, which are cleaned daily by the housekeeping staff. The hygiene is excellent. 🙋♂️ Staff: The staff are extremely friendly. Mr. Mi, who helped me during check-in, was very polite, spoke English well, and even came to my room to show me how everything works. He explained everything clearly — really excellent service. 📝 Check-in Check Out Process: The check-in is very simple. You just fill in your passport details, and you’ll receive an email with your room number and instructions. There are no physical keys, which is a smart and modern system. 💖 My Favorite Part: You can take clean towels at any time, and there are plenty available. You don’t have to hang wet towels in your room to reuse later, which I really appreciate. I dislike using wet towels, so this was a big plus for me. 🆓 Free Amenities: Razors, Toothbrush & toothpaste, Earbuds Cotton pads Hair combs These are all provided for free

The location was great, less than 15minutes from Ueno station and with other subway station at less than 10minutes walk. The staff was really nice. It was clean and comfortable.
