Very near the train station, family mart, and AEON. Cosy place with 2 shower units and washing machine. Mattress and pillows on the 3rd floor unit felt much more comfortable than the 2nd floor unit. The 3rd floor unit layout was also better than the 2nd floor unit (less cluttered and more brightly lit). Great provision of towels, shampoo/soap/conditioner, hair dryer, coat deodoriser. Host was also quite responsive and helpful over message, which we greatly appreciate.

The location is great - right next to a supermarket, some good food places and across the road from a train station. It is only half an hour and maybe 250 yen to get into Shibuya (a bit further to Shinjuku). If here around New Years, most restaurants nearby will be shut but there. is always Sukiya or heading over one stop to Kamata.

plenty of supplies. kitchen is small but well equipped with a microwave, a mini oven, a rice cooker, a stovetop, an oblong stir fry pan, dishes and cutleries. in winter the room is warm, especially the bidet has warm seat. there are hangers to dry cloth in the balcony. tatami doesn't feel very comfortable, but alright to sleep for a few nights. the host is very kind. there're lots of little things that help with daily life like scissors, tapes, pens etc.. it takes 30 to 40 minutes to get to city centre with a few changes. the local Street has everything: several restaurants to eat a variety of food, mini marts just a few meters. overall a great stay. thanks for hosting us.
