Lovely location and beautiful hotel. Shared bathroom but convenient, private and with all necessary toilets. Hot baths in the annex are great.

This was the second time we stayed here. The previous time was before covid and we decided then that, if we should come back to Tokyo, we'd try to book a room here again. The rooms are very small but super clean. The (shared) showers were small as well, but the owner had some remodelling done during the pandemic and right now they're more spacious. The entire ryokan is skillfully decorated in a modern Japanese theme and invites you to visit all floors just to see how it's decorated there. For example, there's a manga story that starts on the toilet at the first floor and ends at the top floor. The breakfast they serve is simple but very tasty.

We found the futon mattresses so comfortable, the temperature which you could control yourself was great, and breakfasts fabulous! Highly recommended.
