The Moana Sands is a great establishment that is situated on one of the best stretches of beach I have seen. Its location is in an area with some good neighboring restaurants, bars and a good new convenience store. The included breakfast is sufficient, however if you don't find it filling or appeasing, they do have A La Carte servings for a charge. The area in front of the hotel is great for snorkeling, swimming and paddle boarding; and is safe for all ages. The rooms are comfortable and a good size. We would definitely stay here again. The hotel also has a washing machine and drier which came in handy.

Perfectly located on the best beach in Rarotonga. Small but well equiped and well staffed hotel, with every room directly on the beach front, and honestly such happy and nice staff, it was a real joy to stay at the Moana Sands.

Absolute prime beachfront location. Stayed on ground floor for first time, previously been top floor. Totally loved being able to snorkel right out front and be just a few steps from our room.
