We had a very comfortable stay. I am not sure what all the recent negative feedback is about as our room was clean, comfortable and had all the basic necessities. Yes there are some renovation works happening around the property and it’s very rural so you are going to get the odd bug or cobweb but that doesn’t impact on a stay here, unless you are extremely fussy. We were welcomed warmly by a lovely man called Jose who was very friendly, he told us how to get to the river which is extremely picturesque. We even saw a bear across the river!!! Very exciting. The property is very close to Sequoia National Park
