Beautiful country location, great for walks. Clean, cosy, comfortable house with plenty of room for all our family . Great quality bedding and crockery. Plenty of parking, with enclosed garden for my grandchildren

We booked here for a family holiday to celebrate a special birthday and it exceeded all expectations. The cottage itself is beautiful! Has everything you could need for a home from home holiday. The garden area was brilliant for our dogs and it was so gorgeous watching all the sheep and birds in the morning and throughout the day. The grounds walking up and around the castle were beyond stunning. So many walks and historical landmarks a short drive away too to enjoy. Thornhill closeby has some lovely food places for both takeaway and to eat in. We will certainly be back.

Perfect house for a chilled weekend away. The house was easy to find and is completely private. The beds are so comfortable and the house is equipped with everything you could need during your stay. Couldn’t fault the cleanliness of the property either.
