The fine print
Based on local tax laws, guests with a tourist visa to Israel are exempted from paying VAT for their reservation. Israeli citizens and residents ("non tourists" as defined in the VAT law) must pay VAT. This tax is automatically calculated in the total cost of the reservation for domestic customers. For guests booking from outside of Israel, the tax is not included in the total price.In order to check in, an up-to-date vaccination certificate or a certificate of recovery must be presented at the reception desk upon check-in. Children under the age of 16 are required to present a negative COVID-19 test performed up to 72 hours before arrival at the hotel. When booking more than 5 rooms, different policies and additional supplements may apply.Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. The staff is very nice! We left the hotel on Saturday and asked to leave later, the hotel had the option and we got a late check-out without extra charge. The room was clean and very quiet (although you can hear the shower of the neighboring rooms quite loudly), the breakfast is amazing, savory pastries, salads, cheeses, etc. Free wine and coffee. There are free bikes with locks and parking arrangement nearby. The location is also great.
