The location was a perfect start to our Northland journey of memories We liked everything about Kotare House especially our Kakariki Room which had stupendous views out over the ocean and bush and one of the most comfortable beds we have slept in. The art works were amazing and a real point of difference which helps make Kotare House stand out for us. That and the conversation we had with our hosts about the "Kiwi Bridge"

Our hosts, Alysn and Brian, were very welcoming. Their property has stunning views and is very peaceful. Every detail had been considered for our comfort, even including robes.

Booked accommodation last minute on our honeymoon. Hosts were very lovely and accommodating. Amazing view in a nice quiet location. Clean, and comfortable, everything we needed for a overnight stay.
