Motel Overview

Located on the shores of Lake Taupo, Anchorage Resort offers rooms with free unlimited WiFi access and views of either the pool or the lake. Guests can relax on the deck around the outdoor heated swimming pool.
Facilities at Anchorage Taupo include a hot tub and barbecue area. All rooms have been renovated and fully refurbished. Each includes kitchen facilities, and some also feature their own spa bath.
Continental and cooked breakfasts are available on request. Free parking is available for both cars and boats.
Anchorage Resort is a 5-minute walk to local restaurants and only 4 km from Taupo town centre.
Local activities include fishing, kayaking, mountain biking, snowboarding and skiing. Guests who are feeling adventurous can try bungy jumping or sky diving.

Nice pool, Great hot water tub and spacious room in the 1 bed unit. The kitchen was well equipped although we did not use it. The hosts were great and very informative and helpful. We had a very enjoyable stay.
