OMG what a delight if you are a bit adventurous and like the country. We had to laugh when we booked the “shepherds hut” thinking it was on a complex but what an amazing pleasant surprise we had. A hut in the garden of the most amazing hosts who could not do enough for us. Just be warned what booking.com advertise isn’t always the facilities. We came fully stocked with bacon etc after it was advertised as having a stove but we actually didn’t need to take anything. tea, coffee, milk and sugar provided plus a fridge, toaster and microwave but no cooking facilities. However do not even bother to think you can go self catering as the local cafes and restaurants are amazing. Every activity and restaurant recommended was amazing. This was a stop off for us on our way to Cornwall and we will definitely be returning. It’s not 5 star luxury but if you love nature, an amazing environment for travelling with a pooch and want to have an amazingly comfortable bed to sleep in this is your place. Thank you Christopher and Emma we will be back xx

Great location. Good walks in the forest and a nice long walk to the resoviour. Excellent pubs 15 minutes drive away with great hospitality and food.
