Hotel S&D Hostel was my last destination during my stay in UZ. I was amused by how generous and kind they were. The day I made the reservation, two weeks before my trip started, I received a message from them asking about my arrival time. I arrived quite late, to be honest, almost 10 or 11 p.m. They waited for me and had my room ready. I loved the experience of staying there with a family, it was great. I always love to get in touch with locals during my travels. The staff spoke good English, and Russian also of course, but since my Russian level is like A1, we were communicating in English. They helped me with the registration, free of charge, which is wow, compared to other hotels or properties. Also, they accepted payment in Som, since a lot of hotels require tourists to pay for their stay in USD or EUR, at Hotel S&D Hostel, they accepted UZ Som, and it was a blessing for me, as I changed all my EUR cash into Sum, and I only had Som left. My room was close to a very big kitchen, which guests were welcome to use. Also, it's very safe there, I checked out, and I left my luggage there for almost 8 hours, and I came back to pick up my luggage and head out to the airport, and I found them there, the family, waiting for me. It was a great help from them. There is heating working in the room to feel warm inside. The location is very close to a big mosque which I very much like, I prayed Solat Eid there, also a big supermarket, that stays open up to 1 a.m. Overall, I am so happy and satisfied with my stay there, and I'd recommend it to those who are looking for that kind of service and facility with that value for money.

Quiet place and cheap price. Around the hostel there are good samsa shop and good market to shop daily things.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly - arranging a very early check-in for me, arranging a taxi, and the manager even asked me to join him for dinner. Most beds in Uzbekistan are quite hard, so I was pleased to find this one very comfortable. The wifi was good, as was the location near the botanic gardens and various shops.
