Petroc “Sunny, clean and good views at a modern, bright and airy flat.”

As it says in the title, it’s very sunny location at the top of the house with a wraparound balcony on two sides. This also means it gets quite hot at times. (late April) There were good blackout blinds and two sliding doors to give airiness. Good rooftop views alround. We were able to sit outside and have breakfast each day and enjoy the views and sip wine and cheese in the evenings. Plus everything worked and there was a basic kitchen. A couple of sharp knives would’ve helped for chopping vegetables and stirring spoon. Manuela very friendly and helpful. A short 2min walk to a small supermarket or 5metres to the little shop nearby.

Location, location, location! If you’re looking to stay in the city center with all the main sights just a short walk away, this is the perfect spot. We loved the coziness of the apartment and the stunning street view from the balcony. The kitchenette was a great addition, fully equipped with everything you might need. Supermarket is 3 minutes away, which is great. The beach is a bit far, but we understood that—it’s a trade-off between being in the city center and near the beach, as Taormina is a hilltop city. You can’t expect to be at the beach in two minutes when you’re staying up in the hills. Thanks to Manuela (host) for great recommendations, each of them was worth to visit.💫

The apartment had a good location. It was close to the historic centre, although the beach was rather far away and not easy to reach. The apartment was sunny and bright. Basically, it had all the necessary facilities (I would wish for an electric kettle and an iron, but I knew they were not included). The hosts were nice and caring people, easy to communicate, and eager to give recommendations and assistance.
