The location, privacy and the pool facilities. Breakfast on the 2nd day was to our liking.

Just fabulous place in every since - nature in the back-yard. Calm and peaceful area to spend few days in. The area have some good food options in walking distance. The beach is 20 min on foot but it’s one of the good ones to spend the day in. We went out for canoeing with the caretaker of the place (Dilhan). It was super cool that he was so service minded and even went with him to watch turtle at the night when they came in for laying eggs. A good surprise for us / and we loved the design and the thinking of containers in the place. For transport - please contact the owner Kasun. He has a good team in place to get you down to Tangalle and back to Colombo/ Airport.

We had a wonderful time at the Box House. The staff was really helpful with everything and quickly attended to our needs. The food was delicious. The rooms were clean and spacious. The environment was quiet and it was perfect for a relaxing family getaway.

The pool! We had so much fun in the pool. Beautiful leafy garden to keep cool in. The food was delicious and the rooms lovely. Thank you for having us 🫶🏼
