- The bus leaves from in front of Washington Plaza Hotel Takayama.Please note there is no restaurant within the walking distance.Guests must check in by 18:00 to eat dinner at this property. Guests who check in after this time may not be served dinner, and no refund will be given.

The staff were on every detail. Very good communication ahead of arrival. Pick up and drop off at station at no extra cost. Includes nice basic onsen, large room and meal on an extra charge (traditional kaiseki meal which was the best of our stay)

The place was beautifully situated in the mountains! Our room had a beautiful view of a garden, and we were the only guests to use the female facilities, so were lucky to have the onsen to ourselves! The meals were beyond my expectations!! Delicious, so much variety, and large portions! And the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming!

Excellent all round, from ambience, service, dinner and facilities (including an onsen we could use privately as we were the only guests) providing the perfect traditional Ryokan experience. Shuttle to and from Takayama Station was very helpful.
