I liked the place a LOT so I prolonged my stay. Everybody knows that Jingjing, the owners' dog, is a local celebrity:-) The host is an amazing person, I really enjoyed playing pingpong with him. He has a versatile tea/pingpong table in the lobby that you must see. A work desk with a lamp in the room, free use of the washing machine, a smoking area outside, a quiet place near the Dutch tower and Confucius Temple. Get a taxi from the train station, cheap and easy.

Value for money, friendly staff and an easy 15 minute flat walk to main rail station. Bed was very comfortable, wet style bathroom easy to navigate and the host was welcoming and offered excellent places to visit and support with an adaptor to charge phone. Appropriate footwear provided for bathroom while showering greatly appreciated. Aircon works well and reheating food facilities plus a fridge are available down stairs. For a hostel, it certainly stands above some of the other places I’ve stayed in where you don’t get an ensuite and have to share a room for a similar price. The single room matched the description. Will return again happily next time I’m in Tainan.

The host (King) was extremely friendly and professional. It was a delight to be hosted by his company. The bed was also by far the most comfortable one I had ever slept on. Furthermore, the hostel/hotel was incredibly clean, well equipped and intelligently managed. The next time I pass by Tainan, I will come by that place!
