The proprietors stay close by so they were available to hand over and collect the keys. It was reassuring to know that had there been anything we needed we could reach them and they would be available to assist. The information brochure provided good recommendations of things to do, places to go and see etc. There was sufficient cuttlery and utensils for self catering purposes.

Nice house in Swellendam that offers everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a well needed washing machine and outside area to dry your clothes. Unfortunately, we only stayed for a stop-over but the house is excellent to explore the Swellendam area for several days. The smallest NP in South Africa, Bontebok NP, is only a few minutes away. Restaurants are in walking distance, we felt safe to walk there in the evening.
