1 night stay. Clean and comfortable. Lovely hill views, glimpse of lake too. Short drive to Stresa. Private bathroom. Nice location

We stayed in Locanda Verbena only 1 night on our way to Stresa and the lake Maggiore. The room was very clean, the bathroom had all facilities, the bed was very comfy and the sheets so clean despite it is not a hotel. A typical Italian "locanda" with its local charm and a restaurant downstairs. The host was a very polite lady who spoke perfect English :). She served a nice Italian breakfast and tried to respond to all our requests and needs. I would recommend the place for its price and cleanliness.

Nice place for a one night stay, simple furniture, very basic breakfast ( cookies and coffie). The owners are very nice, 15 minutes drive in the mountains from steresa.
