Property was homely and perfect for a couple, with all amenities required. A welcome card and bottle of wine was a lovely welcome from host. We found it a good base to drive to various areas during visit including Robin Hoods Bay, Whitby, Rievaulx Abbey and York. Tesco extra within a minutes walk with major supermarkets 5 miles away was a bonus as we cooked several nights (oven slightly temperamental, however, i did find some matches in drawer) Very comfortable stay.

The property was really nice and in a nice small village, away from the busy city but close enough to easily get in! We really enjoyed our stay and the bed was super comfortable!

The property was well presented, the bed was very comfortable and Rebecca was an outstanding host (she provided a very comprehensive list of local amenities and place to visit)

Cottage was very quaint. With beautiful log fire. Very clean and comfortable. Pretty Christmas tree with lovely decoration around the house.
