***Winter Advisory***All vehicles are required to carry chains in their vehicle during the winter season.(November-May). Highway 180 is the only reliable means of entrance during the snow season to Montecito Sequoia Lodge. Do not take Highway 198.Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

The hotel is perfectly located in between the Kings Canyon and the Sequoia. It offers an amazing view and is "embedded" in a wonderful landscape. The small lake inside the resort is a small gem. Rooms are ok, but they need to be modernized. They offer a decent dinner (the dessert was great!) and a good breakfast. They also offer the possibility to prepare sandwiches for lunch. we really appreciated the after-dinner activities for the kids. It's maybe a bit expensive for what the structure offers, but again the location is perfect and that can justify the little extra.

Great place from which to explore Sequioa Very nice breakfast and dinner buffets. Didn't manage to try a lunch. Excellent free wifi even on the parking space. But you'll want to download offline maps to navigate. And currently the main access road is blocked so use the bypass as they explain in their email.

Perfect location for a trip to the Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Park. Great lake and mountain views. Simple but nicely furnished rooms, complimentary meals were good, even had vegan options.
