The location and seclusion of the property was particularly what we wanted . Though it was also ldeal for days out to various Cotswold towns and other areas of interest.

We really liked this place. The hayloft has lots of rural charm. It’s very peaceful, surrounded by fields, woods and a few stone houses and farm buildings. The bed is big and really comfortable. Furniture is a well-chosen mix of vintage, reclaimed and designer pieces. Just a couple of things to be aware of... As you walk from one end to the other you pass under five beams about 5'9" above floor level. No problem if you are able to duck easily, but for taller people with limited mobility it’s worth taking note. Also, the hayloft is very open plan - for example the toilet is in a cubicle which has a door but no ceiling. Fine if you are comfortable with that. The location is great for exploring. Woodchester Mansion, Stroud, the mini-food haven Nailsworth and the outstanding viewpoint Coaley Peak are all nearby. Highly recommended.
