Host has to be the friendliest host I've ever had. Was happy to help with anything and everything. She also allowed us to check in earlier as we landed quite early. Truly a lovely woman! Apartment is also beautiful, with a swimming pool with a great view. Would not change a single thing!

The two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment we had was very good indeed. Well furnished, modern, exceptionally clean throughout and provided everything you could need. The kitchen has oven/grill, microwave, kettle, filter coffee machine (filter papers provided) and dishwasher (tablets provided). The shower rooms were spotless, very good showers with toilet paper and some toiletries provided, and lots of towels. There’s aircon in every room. Previous guests had left some food basics and the hosts had left us wine, beer, juice and fruit in the fridge! Antonia also gave us some of their excellent olive oil, produced from the olive trees in the garden. The apartment has spacious wrap-around balconies with good seating too,and with sea views. Outside, the pool area and garden are beautiful and well cared for. The heated, still cool pool was lovely to use and there are plenty of sun beds with mattresses and good fixed parasols to use. There’s also a shower and toilet, and a covered seating area by the pool. The gardens are lovely and there’s amazing views to the mountains. Antonia and Toni are wonderful hosts, always available if you need them, never obtrusive if you don’t. Their young-adult children were very helpful too, and the family all speak very good English. They made our stay very enjoyable, gave us sound advice and recommendations for local visits, restaurants, etc. There’s adequate car parking at the property if you have a car, and Ubers are quick and plentiful there. It was €8-10 into Spilt, (cheaper than car parking charges). There’s a local pizza restaurant almost next door, and excellent seafood ones just a few minutes away on the Stobrec waterfront (highly recommend Charlie’s). The location is ideal for trips both north and south, to the national parks, Dubrovnik, etc. The property gives easy access to the main coastal road and on to the main motorway for trips further afield. It’s only half an hour from the airport.
