The location of the Golden Lion is great. It is close to lots of shops, pubs, restaurants and coffee shops. We were very pleased that it had an elevator/lift.

Big spacious room with bath. Very central location. Dinner in restaraunt was good. Check in and out was efficient

The breakfast was fab. The service at the evening meal in the restaurant was good but there seemed to be lots of staff rushing around but not giving smooth service somehow?
