Loved Mavilla, it being just our kind of place in terms of its charm and decor. Vic and Esme are attentive and outstanding hosts, the room beautiful, and the breakfast, oh wow, the most generous helping of delicious and downright yummy we have ever had at a BnB. Also loved that there was ample coffee available and rusks as an added bonus, so the coffee, sugar and milk that we always bring from home when staying at a BnB, was left untouched, which is a first for us.

I was very disappointed that breakfast was an issue for my 3 guests, they requested a 7am breakfast as they needed to be at Coetzenburg athletics stadium by 7.30am. They were informed breakfast was only at 8am. However the lady put together a quick breakfast but not to the value we paid. The cost of accommodation was costly and not value for the rooms booked.
