We only stayed a night but the place is beautiful, great location and above all the staff/owners are so helpful and friendly! I would recommend this place again

Excellent location, close to Signal Hill. The building has tons of "character"... it's over a century old. The climb up two very long staircases with a 50 pound suitcase was a bit of a challenge for an 80-year-old! There were no staff around at all, at least we never met any. We did randomly meet one of the owners' parents, who were lovely and friendly. Street parking turned out to not be a problem. The light free breakfast was a bonus, I didn't realize it was part of the deal.

food was excellent; nice to have the various extra bits in the fridge. The house was gorgeous and it was wonderful to have so many comfortable and beautiful available lounge places to spend time. Location was super. Great to be able to come and go as we pleased.

Nice breakfast choices, great coffee, very clean, comfortable. Bed was comfortable and room big enough. The living area was excellent. Close to all the downtown action and even close enough to walk to sites
