The place is beautiful so many trees around very peaceful. The room is comfortable and it was very clean. The hot tub is a great amenity to end the day. I loved it. There is also a whole food around the corner super convenient and either multiple options.

We had a fantastic stay at Black Bear Lodge. The location is excellent—tucked away in a stunning forest setting that feels peaceful and secluded, yet still close to everything Lake Tahoe has to offer. The rooms were a great size with a modern, stylish interior that still captured the rustic charm you'd expect in Tahoe. The added touch of bathrobes was much appreciated after a day out exploring. The reception area is particularly beautiful, with authentic stone features that create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Special mention to Bree at reception—her customer service was excellent and made us feel truly looked after. Free parking is another big plus, and the overall experience was top-notch. We highly recommend Black Bear Lodge and would definitely stay again!
