The location was incredible. Far enough to escape but close enough to enjoy all that Bruny Island has to offer. The villa was well equipped and communication with the host was great. We visited with our teenage daughter so had loads of space but the layout would be great for larger families or groups.

The villa is in a stunning setting, with views across the bay. It is totally private and surrounded by wildlife. The Tasmanian wedge-tailed eagle was a particular highlight. There is plenty of walking from the door, and a short drive takes you to Cloudy Bay Beach. We explored much of South Bruny from here, including Cape Bruny. The house is very well setup for an extended stay, and very comfortable. In the evenings we turned the lights off to watch the sea and sky out the lounge windows. We had an excellent aurora sighting from here. An issue was promptly addressed by the managers. We brought everything we needed for our stay, and had a car that was appropriate for the dirt roads.
