Fantastic location and view from our room was Incredible. Excellent base for walking. The staff were friendly and the food and drinks were very good standard for a mountain hut. The showers were also good and bathroom clean.

Ticar's Lodge was the perfect place for us to start (and end) a multiday trek throught the Triglav area. During the day it's a busy and lively place for drinks and lunch on the popular and beautiful Vrsic pass. After the crowd has left for the day though, it's a really cosy and well equipped combination between a mountain hut and a hotel. Rooms clean and not to cramped, clean toilets, hot showers, excellent breakfast and a nice lunch/dinner menu. The owner was extremely helpful, taking care of a small equipment delivery for us, and accomodating a very late night arrival. This place is highly recommended!

The location and the views are amazing. The local little dog is also super cute. It is a typical mountain hut with shared bathrooms. Breakfast was excellent. :)

Location couldn't get any better. Right at the top of the pass perfect for starting some hikes. Nice view from our room. We only stayed one night so didn’t get to do too much. Staff were really nice and the restaurant food was good!
