... were the only sounds you could hear sitting in the lovely garden outside this beautiful, spacious, well furnished cottage. Such a wonderful location with views across the dale. Pub close-by (about 1 minute's walk!) selling great real ale and delicious food. Nice just to be able to go out of the gate and walk along the quiet road or on one of the numerous footpaths up into the dale. Plenty of interesting places to visit, by car, in the area, as well.

Litton Hall Barn is a lovely, comfortable cottage in the fantastic village of Litton. The cottage was very well equipped and immaculately clean. It had everything we needed to make our week very enjoyable. The beds are very comfortable and the bedrooms all a good size. The log burner is the best I’ve ever used and made the Lounge a lovely cosy space. The Queen’s Arms is a couple of minutes away and serves delicious food. Superb walks from the Cottage in the most fantastic scenery.

We liked everything - the property, charming location, the peace and quiet. The accommodation is really well equipped, tastefully decorated, warm, comfortable and cosy. We received a lovely welcome pack (thank you) and enjoyed good food at the pub just a short stride away.
