Our stay at Taaj Residence in Skardu was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with genuine warmth and hospitality that made us feel right at home. One of the standout aspects of our stay was the home-style food. Each meal was freshly prepared with care, offering a delicious taste of local flavors that reminded us of a hearty home-cooked meal. Whether it was breakfast or dinner, everything was served with love and attention to detail. The room service was equally impressive — prompt, professional, and always accommodating to our requests. The rooms themselves were clean, cozy, and thoughtfully furnished, offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains that Skardu is known for. The garden area at Taaj Residence was a personal favorite. Beautifully maintained, peaceful, and filled with flowers, it provided the perfect setting for morning tea or an evening stroll. Superb in all respects: perfect location, neat & bright room, supportive staff especially Zeehsan, great home-made food, beautiful lawn with free juicy apricots, plums, and apples. Peaceful and quite surroundings so you may listen the songs by birds. Perfect. Strongly recommended.

The best garden at a hotel I’ve stayed at in South Asia (including fruit trees). Rooms are clean and comfortable. Food is great. Good value. They actually have hot water that works. Most importantly though, the family running it is incredibly friendly and helpful and go the extra mile. Even the wifi is decent.
