Paolo met me on-time as arranged and helped me with the transfer of my bags, then to the carpark with a ride back to the house. Very helpful and kind. Loved the location although at night there was quite a bit of fanfare noise from the main piazza just 20-30m away, but thankfully it was well controlled to cease nightly at 11:30pm. The house is located right in the middle of the very picturesque town of Sirolo perched on the cliffs above some of the best beaches on the Adriatic coast which are only a short hike up and down from town. Also ideally located for some of the best trails, with fabulous views into the Cornero National Park. I recommend the Passo del Lupo sentiere #302 which ends at the most breath-taking cliff directly above la Spiaggia Due Sorrelle. Stunningly beautiful views of the coastline both north and south. Unforgettable holiday destination, and big thumbs up to the Painted House to enjoy a vey comfortable stay.
