I booked my stay at this hostel through their Booking.com profile some time in advance. Unfortunately, shortly before my arrival, I received a fraudulent message related to the reservation. The hostel identified the issue and reported it to me several hours later. They also assured us that the matter was being taken seriously and that they had contacted Booking in hopes of resolving the situation and improving online security. Upon arrival, the staff was kind and offered us a €35 discount. First was 135€ which we really appreciated. The room itself was clean and tidy, although a few towels appeared to be stained. Overall, despite the online issue, our experience at the hostel was positive, and we were grateful for the staff’s support and responsiveness. We hope Booking strengthens its security measures to prevent similar incidents in the future.

I stayed for 2 nights in a 8 bedroom mixed dorm. The place used to be a summer camp so is a nice facility with a lot of food trucks, beach volleyball pitch, yoga, brewery and is close to Praia das Maçãs (10-12min walking) and plus 20 min to Azenhas do Mar (or uber, they are quite affordable). But if you want to be in a walkable distance from main touristic spots, I wouldn't recommend this one, as it is +-2h walking distance from the city centre, but again, uber/bolt are affordable. The room is ok, with space enough without feeling crowdy and good ventilation with the door and windows opened.

All great, the place is a combination of inn and a food court villa. It is near the beach, ten minutes walk, beach vibes, lovely people, book in advance is highly recommended.
