I loved how Antonio welcomed each guest to the property, remembered everyone’s names and where they were from, and introduced us to each other. He also spent time discussing the local attractions and the best way to see them.

Casa Azul doesn’t feel like a hostel at all — it feels like staying in a warm, welcoming home. It’s more like having a cozy room in a real house, without the usual comings and goings of a busy hostel. You share the space with just a few lovely people, cook together, and enjoy relaxed conversations around the table. Antonio is a fantastic host — warm, cheerful, and incredibly friendly (chances are he speaks your language too!). The place is small, calm, and ideally located to explore the town. I absolutely recommend it.
