It was across the road from the restaurants and cafes,, the staff were exceptional and accommodating, Cat catered for my dietary needs being a vegetarian and even went out of her way when I visited the restaurant and made me a delicious vegetarian dish not even on the menu Friendly lovely hosts

The very warm reception by the hosts. The great and variable breakfast. Catharina is there for all your needs, with such kindness. Pool. Great tips for the neighbourhood. Location very near to the town center (the ponte romana can be used even though it is being renovated).

The property is in an orchard across the river from the main old town centre of Silves. We found the town a quiet place to base ourselves and explore the west end of the Algarve and the hills behind. Breakfast is largely homemade and the orange as are fresh from the orchard. Catarina is a great cook! They also have a restaurant which serves delicious meals. Rooms are simply furnished with generous shared areas. The staff are fantastic! Catarina and Bruno and four generations of their family are generous and hospitable hosts who went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and had a wonderful experience.
