Location, quiet place, clean, great hospitality, they cook great meals at very reasonable prices. The hosts can provide anything you need, order a tuk tuk, get a driver with a car for tours or transfers or a jeep for safari, even bicycles for rent. Highly recommend.

Amazing place so lucky to have stayed here ! Dilu our host was so friendly and helpful always with a smile on his face which always makes a difference! We had a newly renovated room with a lovely balcony with a view of Pidurangala rock! Really comfortable beds and newly installed AC unit was a huge relief after spending the day exploring. We only stayed 3 nights and honestly we could have stayed 3 weeks ! Breakfast was tasty , traditional Sri Lankan foods whilst admiring the view from our balcony was memorable. Dilu also organised a safari for us which turned out to be amazing ! We also rented bicycles for the day for 700 rupees each to explore the town :) The homestay only has 4 rooms which really made it feel homely and welcoming. The homestay is around a 30/40 min walk to the main area with all the restaurants etc so either rent a bicycle or get a tuk tuk which is easy enough :) Amazing value for 3 nights , honestly think they should be charging more , so if you come to Sigiriya book here if you can !

Amazing stay with Dilu and his family! The guesthouse is ideally located, close to both rocks, and you can even go for sunrise by tuk-tuk with the host. You can also rent a bicycle for 700 rupees and explore the beautiful surroundings: rice fields, lakes, open landscapes… always with a nice spot to stop for a fresh juice with a view. I discovered so many local dishes and tropical fruits during my stay. The room was very spacious, with a fan, a small fridge, and a lovely terrace to relax on. I highly recommend this place — thank you again Dilu for such a wonderful stay!
