This lovely, elegant hotel is obviously well loved and looked after. Our room was huge (Standard King) and well appointed; bed very comfortable, with a nice view overlooking the quiet garden. Everything is very clean and well cared for. We ate once in the restaurant and had the vegetarian option, a mushroom, lentil and cranberry Wellington, which was huge and very tasty. The menu had good variety - so nice to have some veggie choices. Tea. Coffee was served in the Conservatory afterwards, which was also a nice touch, as it enabled guests to 'mix' if they wanted to. The staff were helpful, friendly and professional. Sidmouth is a lovely small town and this is an excellent place to stay in order to explore it.

I really enjoyed my 4 night stay .The hotel was absolutely spotlessy clean..really comfortable single room ..staff and owners very friendly ...breakfast choices excellent and only a few minutes walkfrom.the seafront .I couldn't find any fault and hope to return.
