Breakfast and dinner were both excellent, goodlocal produce and excellently cooked and presented. Room was comfortable and attractive. Staff were excellent.

The property was beautiful, set in gorgeous gardens and close to the river - wonderful for a walk before breakfast. I had a small balcony which was great ( though a chap cutting the hedges suddenly appeared on the balcony while I was in the room - might have been embarrassing!) The staff were all lovely, even when I accidentally checked out without paying; it was soon put right and all was well. Excellent breakfast. And an easy walk into town.

The hotel was everything you would expect from a large 4 star hotel but rarely experienced. Altogether a very comfortable friendly and relaxing short stay. Certainly, The Hunters Moon Hotel is earmarked for another stay.
