The owner could not have been more helpful or accommodating - she was very kind. The location and setting were beautiful, and we were able to fully switch off and relax. The hut had everything we needed and was very comfortable and cozy. There were also personal touches - eg providing gluten free snacks for one of the guests.

The stay was absolutely gorgeous we was lucky enough to have the horses out on our stay and it was amazing hosts where lovely and it was just perfect for celebrating our anniversary. Pictures do not do the place justice it was a perfect quiet stay away from our busy lives

I have just returned from a fantastic two night stay at this shepherd's hut. I was exploring the area by motorcycle and the rural location of the accommodation appealed. I was not disappointed. The hut is comfortable, clean and has everything you could possibly need to cook meals and make the place cosy in the evenings. The hosts, Jo and Ade, provided plenty of outdoor and indoor fire wood, BBQ coals, a pint of milk, and more than enough fresh coffee for my stay. The bed is super comfy, the separate bathroom facilities excellent, and the views from the hut are stunning. Jo and Ade are excellent hosts and can provide local knowledge if required. The hut is extremely private with it's own garden and set in such a beautiful rural location. Although, local amenities are close by and Shrewsbury is just 10 minutes away with all the facilities a sizeable town has to offer. I will definitely be going back to stay and to see Jo and Ade again. I have more roads to explore in the area and I can not think of a better base camp to return to after a long days riding.
