Outi “Great ryokan style onsen in Shirahama”

The location was ok with about 8min walk from the bus stop. The onsen was nice and very quiet (the hotel overall was quite quiet). You get also free ice cream with the onsen. The hotel room I had didn't have a shower, but you can use the onsen. But it does have a toilet. The ryokan style room and bedding was nice experience. In the room an outfit for the onsen was provided with an excellent sleep mask as well. The hotel also drove me to the train station when I was leaving so I actually was able to catch an earlier train. I don't know if this is part of the service or they just wanted to be nice. There was a language barrier a bit but we overcome with google translate.

The hotel was newly refurbished, facilities are clean and good. Staff are very polite and service was very good.

Very clean and Simple modern design. Prices are reasonable. I hardly find a Japanese style TATAMI room for single person anywhere else inJapan. Some rooms haven’t a shower but you can use ONSEN ( hot springs). The ROTEN BURO ( outside hot springs) is cosy but beautiful. They provide japanese wears after having a hot spring. Hotel Staff provided great service.

The breakfast portion was very generous, and I ate my fill. There was a variety of dishes, and the tamagoyaki seemed to be freshly made—it was hot. In the morning, having a bowl of miso soup with rice along with various side dishes made my stomach very comfortable. The evening kaiseki meal is also lavish, with very fresh sashimi. I recommend the beef. The hotel also recommends other restaurants and scenic routes.
