“A peaceful stay and Everything we Needed.”

We stayed for 2nights at Shimla British Resort and it was just what we were looking for — peaceful, clean, and full of character. The location is perfect, away from the noise but still close to Mall Road. Our room had beautiful wooden interiors and stayed warm even during cold evenings. Every day started with chai on the balcony, overlooking the forest. One evening, the staff arranged a bonfire — honestly one of the best evenings we had in Shimla. Everyone was friendly and polite, especially Aman, who always checked in to make sure we were comfortable. The food was fresh and homely, and the rooftop view made every meal more special. We left feeling refreshed and very well taken care of. Would definitely recommend it to friends and family.

I came here with my wife and 6-year-old son and we all really enjoyed the stay. We booked the Danish Imperial Room with a balcony — it had lovely old-style wooden furniture and a clear view of the trees. It was so quiet in the mornings, you could hear the birds! One thing I really appreciated was how thoughtful the staff was. Mohan arranged warm milk for our son at night, and even had the room heated before we arrived. On our last day, he surprised us with a small snack pack for our journey back to Chandigarh. These small things made the stay feel very personal and warm. If you're visiting Shimla with family and want something peaceful but still close to the city, this is a great pick.

We visited with our kids and parents, and this resort made our trip super smooth. The Scottish Villa Rooms were cozy, had beautiful wood furniture, and overlooked a quiet garden. The hotel arranged a lovely nature walk, and we ended our days with board games and hot meals around a bonfire. The rooftop restaurant also had great views and hearty Indian meals. Pros: Family-friendly, great food, helpful staff, antique interiors, comfortable beds, heating provided. What we loved: Personal attention to detail and the peaceful vibe — felt like home in the hills.
“A Cozy Winter Escape with Our Dog Bruno”

Travelling with our golden retriever Bruno, we stayed in one of the Scottish Villa Rooms. The room had beautiful wooden flooring, antique chairs, and they had already turned on the heater before our arrival. In the evening, the staff set up a bonfire just for us in the garden and even served Bruno a bowl of rice and chicken! Teena made sure we had extra tea and board games brought to our table inside the restaurant while the cold wind picked up outside. Felt more like a home than a hotel.
