Hotel Overview

Established in 1871, the colonial-style Hotel Willow Banks enjoys beautiful views of the Shimla Valley and mountains. About 450 metres from Christ Church and Shimla City, it has a free Wi-Fi, a sauna and hot tub.
Elegant rooms all come with a cable TV, tea/coffee making facilities and a mini-fridge. Some rooms have a balcony. En suite bathrooms have a bathtub and hot-water showers. Certain rooms offer a spa bath. All the rooms are well ventilated, the weather of Shimla with fans keeps the ambiance comfortable.
Hotel Willow Banks is located on The Mall, a charming shopping lane. It is within 2.6 km from Shimla State Museum and Viceregal Lodge. Shimla Airport is about 21 km away while the Railway Station is 2.5 km.

Size of the balcony is 28 sq ft. Includes a cable TV and tea/coffee making facilities. Bathroom has a bathtub. Additional benefits: - Complimentary welcome drink - 15% discount on spa services - 20% discount on games at the sports bar - Complimentary use of Gym The Hotel has a Swiss Chalet style sloping roof structure. Premium rooms are on the 4th floor (with straight ceilings) or 5th floor (with sloping chalet style ceilings). Other than style of ceiling - room sizes and amenities are identical across all Premium rooms. These would be allocated to guest as per availability and entertaining. Any preference on this matter would not be possible.

Suite is a combination of two interconnected rooms, where one has a king size bed and another has a sofa cum bed that opens out into a large bed for two. The room has a sloping roof in the same style as Swiss Chalet style hotels. Herbal hookah served in balcony on chargeable basis the room welcomes guests with two complimentary mugs of freshly brewed beer / mocktails served in the room on arrival.

Excellent location with a fabulous view of Shimla. Breakfast is expensive so we had it elsewhere. Room was large and bed was comfortable. Good shower.

Hotel Willowbank is brilliantly located on the Mall in Shimla. It is an old fashioned hotel but it meet our needs well.
