Stayed 1 night late May. Arrived very early around 11:3am and the owners are lovely. They let us in early and upgraded us to their 2 bedroom suite room for not extra charge as it was ready and the room we had booked wasn't (nor did we expect it to be that early; we were just hoping to be able to leave the bike outside and our gear and wander around the old town until check in time but they were so accommodating about letting us have the 2 bedroom apartment).. The 2 bedroom apartment is lovely. It does has a mini fridge and a small counter top. No tea/coffee making in room but it does have a communal kitchen and dining area which were just downstairs below us (never heard anyone at any time even though others were staying). Beds very comfy. Power points all around and pretty close by bedsides. A balcony to relax on with chairs and a coffee table. Air con worked well and was quiet. Free internet worked really well. The bathroom was small and the only downside is the shower is tiny. On the plus side, the water pressure is fantastic! Loads of cupboard space and hanging space behind full length wardrobe doors. The pics with red fixtures and fittings are the communal kitchen and dining/living area for all guests. There is a breakfast cafe (great and cheap breaky) and a laundromat literally steps from the front door. It is only a couple of minutes walk to a park and the aqueduct. And about 10+mins walk into the old town area of Setubal (and mostly flat, no hills). Ample parking around apartment (off the road) for a motorcycle and also spots for a car. We would stay here again for sure if ever in Setubal. Wouldn't even look for anything else. :)

The host is very helpful and nice. The location is also good – you can walk to the main venue in about 15–20 minutes, the neighbourhood is quiet, and parking isn’t difficult. It’s like a family home with shared living room and kitchen areas, although we didn’t use them during our stay.

Extremely friendly owner who let us check-in a bit earlier, gave us advice on where to go in the city, helped carry our wet bags and everything! Also the house is stylish and has everything you need. Very cool that you have a communal kitchen area and a sofa to hang out. Totally worth every penny!
